Writing Activity

This writing activity is focus on Okuda, a Santander graffiti artist. Students have to follow instruction and search in every link provided the answers to be able to write several short reports about Okuda. The task would consist in solve certain questions about a graffiti artist of Santander. In pairs, the will have to answer every question about him and his pieces by writing a short essay. In order to know the answers they should be able to read and understand several texts that are provided by a link in every question. Finally they would have to choose one of Okuda´s graffiti, copy it on the document and write why it is the one that they like most.

Tagul is really a good tool to create word clouds with any shape that you can imagine. It could be very useful recourse to make your students guess about one famous person as in this case or to encourage to anticipate the plot of a story by reading the most common words on it. Just copy and paste a fragment of the literary work you want to introduce and Tagul will do the rest.

This is a Prezi presentation. It is part of a more complex activity, but it also could be interesting to revise and remember how to pronounce several animal names.
